DAVID BUTLER, SENIOR PASTOR
David Butler and Jennifer came to Woodlawn in 2017 with their 3 children: Ashleigh, Samuel, and Alli Kate They have been married for 20 years and met at Lexington Baptist College. Since coming to Woodlawn, they have added another child and a new grandchild to the home, Lily Grace and grandson Maddox.
David studied at Clear Creek Baptist College in Pastoral Ministries, and then received a Masters of Christian Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. A former youth pastor, David has been a senior pastor since 2011.
David is driven by everything of God. He loves to disciple people into a deeper relationship with God and find their calling for life. He also loves meeting new people who are struggling with life and helping them find Jesus for themselves.
TONY MANN, WORSHIP PASTOR
Tony and his wife Carrie have been married 28 years, as they grew up together in Lebanon. They have two children, Ashley and Alex, and one grandchild, Sadie Kate. In his other job, he is a local EMT for the Marion County EMS.
He has served as the leader of our worship since 2004. He leads both in singing and with his guitar. Son Alex plays the drums for the worship band.
Tony likes all kinds of music but really loves Praise and Worship music that leads people to the very throne of God. When God’s people get together to praise Him, it glorifies the Kingdom and changes lives.
JENNIFER BUTLER, MINISTRY TO CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Jennifer was called to ministry at the age of 16 while on a mission trip to Cherokee, NC. She has been working with children and students for over 20 years.
She received her B.A. in Cross Cultural Studies and Missions from Lexington Baptist College. Married to Pastor Butler for 20 years, she has a passion for seeing children and students come to know Jesus and helping them to grow in their relationship with Him.
Jennifer is also a home school Mom to her crew, and in her small amount of spare time, she enjoys singing, playing piano, and visiting her grown daughter Ashleigh, son-in-law Caleb and new grandson, Maddox.
